Do something you enjoy

Depression can make you give in to your exhaustion. Push yourself to do something you enjoy that is both calming and energizing. Playing an instrument, drawing, hiking, etc. These activities can help you overcome your symptoms by providing tiny boosts in your mood and energy.

You employ the same portions of your brain when you do the same thing every day. By doing something completely different, you can push your neurons and change your brain chemistry. Consider attempting a new sport, taking a creative class, or learning a new cooking method.
